After 37 weeks of learning and fun, our preschool class has finally reached its end and we (students and teachers alike) are looking forward to the break this summer.
Thinking back over the year, it is amazing to think of all the changes, growth, learning and fun we have had. The first day of school in Liberia seems like so long ago -- running club, playing on the dock, feeding the fish -- it all seems a lifetime ago. Looking through old pictures together with the class on Friday, we shouted happily at pictures of Mayra, Norah, Emily and Miriam - laughed at the rainy running club - and smiled at welcoming Tom in Tenerife. It was amazing for me to see how much this group has grown and changed in the last 10 months - personality wise, intelligence wise, socially wise and just as people. I hope to pick up this blog again in August when school starts again - for any loyal readers, keep me honest and let me know if you miss it! :)
